Located at the intersection of Tatum Boulevard, State Route 51 and the Loop 101, the community of Desert Ridge is known for its beautiful neighborhoods, amenities, and top-rated schools. There are several different neighborhoods within Desert Ridge, featuring a wide range of homes. Aviano, built by Toll Brothers, features a beautiful master-planned community featuring large single family homes, many with pools, 3 car garages, and 4 and 5 bedrooms. Aviano has a community center, with a large pool, spa, tennis courts, meeting rooms, and workout facility, as well as a large community park. The nearby Fireside neighborhood features single family homes which range from 1,903 square feet to 3,834 square feet. Fireside has its own large community center, with a large pool with beach entry, as well as a fully-equipped fitness facility.
The most recent community of single family homes in Desert Ridge is Sanctuary, which is a gated community built by Taylor Morrison. Custom and semi-custom homes are also available in Desert Ridge. Lockwood Estates, built by Zachar Homes, contains homes which average 3,300 square feet and are located near the Wildfire Golf Club. Leroux Springs is a gated community of semi-custom homes, which were built by M/I Custom Homes. Desert Ridge also has a few condominium neighborhoods, specifically the Bella Monte Condos and the Villages at Aviano.
Outdoor activities in Desert Ridge include its numerous community parks, extensive walking paths and trails, as well as golf. The Wildfire Golf Club has two award-winning courses: the Faldo Championship Course and the Palmer Signature Course. Desert Ridge also is home to the J.W. Marriott Resort and Spa at Desert Ridge, which is a luxury resort on 316 acres. Across the street from this resort is the popular Desert Ridge Marketplace, a large outdoor mall with 2 million square feet of retail space plus outdoor fireplaces and a splash pad. Next door to Desert Ridge is High Street, an outdoor mall with retail shops, restaurants as well as residences.
